Role of DDO's

Chief Medical Officer

The Chief Medical Officer is the Vice Chairman of District Health Society Udhampur, District Blindness Control Society Udh., Distt. TB Control Society Udh. and Distt. Leprosy Control Society Udh. He Exercises administrative control over all the DDOs in the district and is also the overall incharge of all schemes.

Medical Superintendent District Hospital, Udhampur

Medical Supdtt.(DDO) who exercises administrative control in District Hospital.

Dy. Chief Medical Officer

DDO responsible for implementation of RCH & Family Welfare Schemes.

District Tuberculosis Officer (DTO)

DDO who exercises control over DTC and is responsible for implementation of Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme.

District Health Officer (DHO)

He is responsible for implementation of Non-Communicable Diseases Control Programme and NLEP programme in the District.

District Immunization Officer (DIO)

 He is under the administrative control of Dy. CMO and is the incharge of immunization programme in the District.

Block Medical Officer’s

All the BMO’s are DDOs, exercise administrative control and are responsible for implementation of all Health Programmes in their respective blocks.
