Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP)

District TB Control Society was established in district Udhampur in the year 2001-02. District Tuberculosis Officer (DTO) is member Secretary of the Society. Aim and objective of the programme is to increase the case detection rate (CDR) and to increase the cure rate, thereby controlling the spread of the disease in the community.

National Leprosy Eradication Programme (NLEP)

District Leprosy Control Society has been established in the district in 1994-95. District Health Officer (DHO) is the member Secretary of the Society. The Aims & Objectives of the programme is to detect and treat the patients of leprosy and control the spread of disease.

National Programme of Control Blindness (NPCB)

District Blindness Control Society was established in the district in the year 1994-95. Chief Medical Officer Udhampur is the Vice Chairman and Deputy Chief Medical Officer is the member Secretary of the Society. Aims & Objectives of the Society is to eradicate the blindness caused due to cataract & glocoma in the society by holding Eye camps in the periphery and conducting free cataract surgeries in the health institutions of the District.
