Draft Municipal Council Electoral Rolls published for Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, AUGUST-04:- The draft Municipal Electoral Rolls for the Municipal Council Udhampur has been displayed for the information of the electors here today on August 04, 2018.
This was stated by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Subhash Dogra who is also Electoral Registration Officer, Udhampur during a meeting with media personnel at his office chamber.
He said that a eligible voter who attained the age of 18 years (by January 01, 2018 ) and not enrolled in the electoral roll can fill form no.3 along with documentary proof and those whose names are not correct can fill form 4 for correction and form no.5 for transposition from 04 August 2018 to 13 August 2018 for inclusion of name or any objection to the inclusion of a name or to particulars in any entry in the Municipal Electoral Roll.
The ERO further urged the eligible votes to visit their respective polling station where list of Electoral Roll has been displayed to file claim and objection if any for updation of the same.
Moreover the Special Camp days will be held from 05 August 2018 and 12 August 2018 at each polling station of Municipal Council. Besides disposal of claims and objections will be done on 18 August 2018 while updation of rolls will be done on 28 August 2018 and final publication of electoral rolls will be on 04 September 2018.
The requisite forms for filing claims and objections regarding addition, deletion, correction and transposition of entries would be available with Chief Executive Officer, Municipal council Udhampur.
