Gram Swaraj Campaign :DC Udhampur attends Gram Sabha at Panchayat Debreh

UDHAMPUR, APRIL-13:- As part of the Gram Swaraj campaign, an impressive programme was today organized here at Panchayat Dabreh of Block Udhampur under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner, Indu Kanwal Chib.

Assistant Commissioner Development, Dharam Pal, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Dr. Ranjeet Singh Kotwal, Block Development Officer Shivana Akhtar were also present.

To mark the celebration of the Iconic week, the Panchayat Dabreh adopted the resolution on Healthy Village and Child Friendly village out of 9 sustainable development goals.

In this regard, an awareness camp was organized to impart knowledge/awareness about the different schemes of Health and ICDS Departments for the welfare of Child , Women and adolescent girls .

The District Development Commissioner interacted with the public and emphasized on the importance of Institutional delivery for pregnant women and healthy nutrition for women and child .
