Anti-Rabies Vaccination, Sterilisation camp held at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, MARCH 12: A five day long Anti Rabies Vaccination, Sterilisation and other allied treatment camp is being organized by District Administration here at Old Government Polytechnic College Udhampur.

On the third day, Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Indu Kanwal Chib visited the camp site where she interacted with the Doctors and the Veterinary staff.

She encouraged and appreciated the efforts made by the veterinary staff members to keep a check on rabies & other diseases. The DC said that the main objective of organizing this camp is to protect the canines from getting infected with rabies & other diseases in and around Udhampur Town. She said that the people of the District should be made aware about prevention of these diseases and appropriate steps under Scientific norms shall be taken to keep check on the population of canines.
