DIPR Cultural Wing organises cultural program at Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan Model Girls HSS Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, MARCH 22: A Cultural Program on Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav was today organized by Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) Jammu here at Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan Government Model Girls Higher Secondary School Udhampur.

Principal of the school Pawan Salathia was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

While addressing the participants, the Chief Guest lauded the Information Department for presenting cultural programme on Azaadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav to mark the 75 years of India’s Independence. He appreciated the efforts of the Information Department for creating awareness through the cultural activities and urged the Department to hold more such events in future also.

Artists of Cultural Wing Jammu and District Information Centre Udhampur Surjit Singh, Bunty Shah, Rashid Manzoor, Balbir Singh, Mohinder Kumar, Suresh Kumar, Amit Kumar and Rakesh Kumar presented Patriotic and folk Songs.

The students of the school also sang patriotic songs.
