CMO chairs RKS meeting at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, MARCH-24:- A meeting of the Governing body of Rogi Kalyan Samiti was held today under the chairmanship of Chief Medical Officer, Dr K C Dogra who is also the Vice Chairman of Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS).

The meeting was attended by Dr. Vijay Raina, Medical Superintendent District Hospital and all committee members of RKS along with hospital staff.

Dr. Vijay Raina, Medical Superintendent informed the committee about the patient care facilities available at the District Hospital.

After detailed discussions, Dr. Vijay Raina, requested the Committee to accord approval for procurement of emergency medicines for indoor patients including drugs and supplies under JSSK and Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Programme, Repair of ambulances, lighting of hospital, displaying electric boards, provision of POL, procurement of material for sanitation , repair of window pans, emergency trolleys, procurement of OPD slips and record keeping registers, procurement of laboratory consumables, registers and formats, procurement of X-Ray films and CT scan films, replacement of color coded dustbins and biomedical waste equipments, furniture for staff section, electric and sanitary repairs, sports injury rehabilitation centre, chairs for Conference Hall etc from RKS and HDF funds through GeM and government approved firms.

The Committee granted approval for the various activities/procurements under RKS and HDF and stressed for optimum utilization of funds for the welfare/interest of patients and ensuring improvement of District Hospital Udhampur.
