DC reviews implementation of PM Shram Yogi Maandhan Scheme in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, MARCH 06: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa today convened a meeting to review the implementation and progress of the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan scheme in the district.

The DC stressed the need to expand coverage to bring unorganised sector workers under the ambit of social security benefits. Necessary directions were issued to all concerned line departments to intensify grassroots-level mobilisation and awareness efforts to ensure maximum outreach. The departments were asked to identify eligible beneficiaries within their respective jurisdictions and facilitate their enrolment through focused field-level activities.

The meeting was attended by the Additional District Development Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer, Chief Executive Officer Municipality, Assistant Labour Commissioner and other concerned officers.
