UDHAMPUR, DECEMBER 03: To take the stock of ongoing developmental works being executed in the RDD sector, Director Rural Development Jammu, Mohammad Mumtaz Ali today conducted an exhaustive tour of District Udhampur.

En-route, he inspected various ongoing development works being executed under RDD schemes in Block Udhampur and Tikri. He directed the Block Development Officers to expedite the pace of works ensuring timeline completion.

Later, the Director RDD chaired a meeting of all Block Development Officers, Executive Engineers, AEEs and AEs of Rural Engineering Wing of Rural Development Department (RDD), Udhampur to review physical and financial achievements under different schemes under implementation in the district.

He took an extensive review of progress on Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), budget performance, payments of wages, details of Aadhar seeding (ABP conversion), details of incomplete and ongoing works for 2018-19 and 2019-20, person days generated during 2021-22, Labour budget for 2021-22, status of liabilities under MGNREGA, issuance of new job cards, geo tagging of MGNREGA phase-1 and II performance, status of works being executed under 14th FC, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin (PMAY-G), CD & Panchayat, Status of Panchayat Ghars under RGSA.

Director RDD asked the BDOs to complete all sanctioned houses within this financial year besides mobilizing their men and machinery for effective implementation of all schemes and coverage of 100 per cent eligible beneficiaries under PMAY (G). He expressed satisfaction over pace of progress on several vital parameters. He issued instructions to BDOs to expedite the progress of ongoing development works under CD & Panchayat and RGSA for timely completion. Earlier, Assistant Commissioner Development, Udhampur Mushtaq Ahmed Chowdhary gave a detailed powerpoint presentation about the progress of different schemes of the RDD sector in the district.

Additional District Development Commissioner, Kanta Devi; Superintending Engineer (REW), Anil Kumar Pandohi; Executive Engineer (REW), Ram Singh; besides all Block Development Officers, AEEs, and AEs of Rural Development Department were present in the meeting.
