District Urban Development Agency

District Urban Development Agencies(DUDAs) were created by State Government vide order no 40 HUD\P&S of 1998 dated 02-01-1998 for implementation of various urban poverty alleviation programs sponsored by the Government of India and for the performance of other such functions as may be entrusted by the government of Jammu and Kashmir. Since year 2014 the Agency has been entrusted with the task to implement Deendayal National Urban Livelihood Programme and also Credit Linked subsidy Scheme of Housing or All Mission (PMAY) since the year 2015. The District Urban Development Agency is implementing Agency of these schemes in Udhampur district.
