Over 30,000 devotees pay obeisance at Mata Chountra Shrine

UDHAMPUR, APRIL 03: Over 30,000 devotees visited the holy shrine of Mahamaya Chountra Devi Ji situated 25 km away from Ramnagar, here today.

Pertinent to mention here that the Akhand Jyoti of Mahamaya Chountra Devi ji was lit at Narsingh ji Mandir Ramnagar on the occasion of the first Navratra. The Akhand Jyoti was taken from Ramnagar to the shrine in a colourful procession amid chanting of bhajan & kirtan.

Ramnagar Administration had made elaborate arrangements for security, uninterrupted power supply, safe drinking water, sanitation and medicare etc at the shrine.

A colourful cultural programme was also held at darbar of mata ji which was presented by Renowned Dogra artist Romalo Ram and party and was highly appreciated by the devotees. Besides, a big bhandara was also organised by the Mahamaya Chountra Devi Management Committee and other social organisations at the Shrine and en-route to the shrine .
