Udhampur Admin hosts training workshop on employment generation

With an aims to generate awareness among the youths, a daylong training workshop under Tourist development programme was today conducted by District Administration Udhampur for youth club members of Panchari and Kulwanta, here at Conference Hall of DC Office Complex.

The workshop was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Mudassir Yaqoob Zargar, BDO Kulwanta and other officers besides Youth club members.

During the workshop, Officer on Special Duty of Mission Youth, Gourav Gupta gave a detailed power point presentation about various employment schemes initiated by the UT Government under Mission Youth.

The OSD sensitised the participants about the objective of mission youth and exhorted upon them to take keen interest in the training workshop. He said that the main objective of organizing this training workshop is to sensitize the unemployed youth club members about the single platform set up for where they can have multiple options to choose for their employment. He urged upon youths to establish their own income generating units under different self-employment schemes of the government.

He said the need of the hour is to provide youth a bouquet of information so that they move in the right direction and bring prosperity to their family, society as well as contribute to the nation building process. He called upon the youth to come forward and take part in the mission youth initiative started by the UT Government.

Several other speakers also delivered lectures on mission youth initiatives and interacted with the Youth club members & responded to their queries during the interactive session.
