Udhampur DDC vice chairperson kick starts Covid vaccination at Majalta

UDHAMPUR, JANUARY-03:- In line to the path-breaking initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Government for opening Covid vaccination for children between 15-18 years, Juhi Manhas Pathania, Vice Chairperson, DDC Udhampur, started the special vaccination drive from Government Higher Secondary School Majalta.

Scores of children between 15-18 assembled at the centre and vaccination was started. The said vaccination will boost India’s fight against Corona and further strengthen the support/resistance base against anticipated Covid 3rd wave. She hailed the leadership and commitment of PM Modi Government in India’s fight against Covid.

“Globally, it has been accepted that India has emerged as a leader in the fight against Corona. And, foremost, the people of India too need to be complemented who have responded positively to various measures and orders of administration at various points of time” she noted.

She was all-praised for the charisma and leadership of the Prime Minister for being at the forefront of the world’s largest vaccination drive. Now that things have started ultimately swinging in our favour, we need to be more cautious and obedient.

Prominent among those who were present included Chairman BDC Majalta Dina Nath, Member DDC from Majalta Amit Sharma, Tehsildar Majalta, BMO Majalta, SHO Majalta and various tehsil/block level officers of various departments.
